In accordance with the international compliance with data protection laws as WAMGROUP we are committed to protecting your personal data collected through the use of our websites.

PRIVACY POLICY ex. Art 13 Reg. CE 679/2016 
Within the meaning of the legislation in force and pursuant to art.13 Reg. CE 679/2016 of the European Parliament on the protection of individuals, with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, we hereby inform you that your personal data are treated in accordance with the above regulations by WAMGROUP S.p.A – as the Holder of the treatment – and by the companies that WAMGROUP S.p.A. coordinates and holds (hereinafter the “Group”) according to the above-mentioned legislation. 
The information shall be processed through computing processes suitable to ensure their security and confidentiality. 
By treatment, we mean the collection, recording, organisation, storage, processing, modification, selection, extraction, comparison, use, interconnection, blocking, communication, dissemination, erasure, and destruction of personal data. These data are used in connection with our business. The data shall be stored for the time strictly necessary to achieve the purposes mentioned above and to provide the user with the required service. The period is detailed below in this document. In cases where not specified the storage period is of ten years starting from the last interaction between the parties (or starting from the date when data were collected). The information shall not be shared with third parties. However, WAMGROUP S.p.A. reserves the right to share and provide the information collected with the companies being part of the Group for the same purpose. In this regard we hereby inform you that your data can be transferred to the countries where WAMGROUP S.p.A. and its subsidiaries are located, meaning outside Europe too. 
If personal data collected are to be processed for purposes other than those previously specified, the Holder shall inform both on the purposes and on the nature of such information. Taking into account state of the art and implementation costs, as well as the nature, application, context and purpose of the treatment, the Holder has put into place, both in determining the means used on handling the information and during data treatment (the so-called risk analysis – accountability), suitable technical and organisational measures meant to effectively implement the principles of data protection and to integrate within the treatment the necessary security level so as to meet the requirements of the Reg. CE 679/2016 and to protect the rights of the person concerned.

The Holder of the treatment has not assigned a D.P.O. as this professional figure is not necessary within the organisation given that the treatment characteristics are not object of in the circumstances referred to in art. 37 of the Reg. CE 679/2016. We hereby inform you that the provision of data is optional, but at the same time we point out that we are unable to comply with the refusal of the provision of personal data. As regards the treatment of the information subject of this policy, the person concerned shall be granted at any time the right to:

  • Receive confirmation on his personal information and access to its content;
  • Update, modify and/or correct the personal information; 
  • Ask for cancellation, transformation into anonymous form, blocking of the data if processed in breach of the law or limitation of the treatment;
  • Oppose the process for legitimate reasons.

This policy applies to all WAMGROUP network websites but not for any other website that may be consulted through links published on this site; on these third-party sites, the Holder of the treatment is not to be considered liable in any manner. Our websites have been thoroughly and accurately examined. They contain no dangerous or unpleasant details. The products advertised cannot be purchased directly through our websites. 

Non-Personal Data Collected Automatically

When accessing our websites, we may automatically collect non-personal data (e.g. type of internet browser and operating system used, domain name of the website from which you came, number of visits, average time spent on the website, pages viewed). We may use these data and share them with our worldwide affiliates to monitor the attractiveness of our websites and improve their performance or content.

Type of data that which is not being collected

Sensitive and/or legal data (as defined by the National Data Protection Legislation in force) and/or special categories of personal data as personal data concerning health, as defined in the GDPR are expressly excluded from WAMGROUP processing activities under the scope of this Privacy Policy.

REGISTRATION TO RESERVED AREA and possible subscription to the Newsletter
Data collected:
First Name and Last Name, Company, Place (State, Region, Zip code), e-mail address and telephone number, social media used, areas of interest, product families of interest.

Purpose:
Provision of confidential commercial information and reserved services (for instance, downloading technical manuals), Business Contacts, Newsletter in case one has subscribed to the service.

The employees of WAMGROUP S.p.A. as well as all sales staff of companies that WAMGROUP holds and coordinates worldwide.

Data retention:
10 years after the last access.

SUBMITTING Curriculum
Data collected:
Name and Surname, Citizenship, Year of Birth, Gender, e-mail address and telephone number, educational qualifications, possible work position of interest and geographic area of interest, if member of groups protected by the equality legislation or special, as well as any other data considered useful in your curriculum including any annexes.

Purpose:
Work contacts in view of recruitment or collaboration.

Shared by:
The Human Resources department’s personnel within WAMGROUP S.p.A. as well as any of the staff involved in the selection of Human Resources within the subsidiaries’ offices controlled and coordinated worldwide by WAMGROUP S.p.A.

Data retention:
2 years starting from the date they have been sent.

Supplier application form available on the supplier.WAMGROUP.com website
Data collected:
Name of the company, VAT no., telephone number and e-mail address, Self-evaluation questionnaire, Any information material supplied in view of the application.

Purpose:
Application evaluation and references meant to establish a business relationship.

Shared by:
The personnel of WAMGROUP S.p.A. as well as by part of the companies controlled and coordinated worldwide by WAMGROUP S.p.A.

Data retention:
10 years from the date of application.

Submitting to the events platform broadcasted in streaming mode through the “WAM STREAM” platform
“WAM STREAM” will be used for Exhibitions, Webinars and Products Presentation. In occasion of these events we process personal data such as name, contact details and participation, other data (i.e. date of birth) depending on the event. Wamgroup processes these information for the purpose of preparing events for its customers, but also to get in direct contact with the user. The participation to these events is voluntary, but not possible without the processing of personal data.
As regards the use of the “WAM STREAM” platform, Wamgroup specifies that, during the broadcasting of the events, an on-line chat service will be available for the users to submit technical and commercial questions. All answers will be given in an interactive manner.

Data collected
Name and Surname, Company, position, location (Country), e-mail, phone, fields of interest.

Purpose
Providing confidential business-related information and services (e.g. one-to-one visa chat, watching multimedia content), business contacts and newsletters.
